Watch Roma players and staff surprise Jose Mourinho on his 59th birthday with cake and champagne in changing room (photos)

Wednesday, January 26 was the birthday of iconic football manager, Jose Mourinho.

The ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham boss was all smiles as he got a round of applause from Roma players and staff who surprised him with a cake and champagne in the dressing room on his 59th birthday.

After cutting his cake, he showed flashes of his man-management skills by walking over to give captain, Lorenzo Pellegrini the first slice.

Mourinho was 37 when he first became a manager, with Benfica in 2000.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach has since won Europe’s top club competition with Porto and Inter Milan, plus eight domestic top-flight titles.
