Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has beaten the club’s ex-boss, Jose Mourinho to set a new record following the Blues’ 4-0 thrashing of Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner were the scores as Chelsea sealed a commanding performance at Stamford Bridge.
It was also Tuchel’s 50th in charge at Stamford Bridge in all competitions and the west London side are showing no signs of easing up under the German.
Chelsea have won 32 and kept 31 clean sheets out of the 50 games Tuchel has handled charge.
Having conceded just 24 goals from those 50 games, Tuchel overtakes Mourinho to set a new record for the best defensive record of any manager in the history of the English club.
Mourinho, now Roma boss, had held the record with his reign at Stamford Bridge from 2004 as Chelsea conceded 27 goals in his first 50 games.
