Controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu, has asked singer Davido, to reveal how much he gave out to charity.
He made the call after the singer revealed on his Instastories that he made $22.3 million.
Recall that prior to his birthday which was on November 21, Davido asked his friends to give him at least N1 million as a birthday gift. His friends and fans came out en mass and donated as much as N200 million within 48 hours. He released a statement saying he would be gifting every single penny to charity and would be adding an additional N50 million from his own money. He mentioned that the money will be disbursed by a 5-man committee.
In a video posted on his Instagram page this evening, Uche said Davido is yet to disclose the charities that benefitted from the donation.
”Oh my God! You are coming out to tell us how much you made in a year. We are happy for you. Glory be to God. But why can’t you tell us how much you gave to charity homes in Nigeria? You came out and said that on the 18th and 19th you would do disbrusement. You said you would do a press release on the 20th or the 21st but we did not see press release. We want to know how much did you give the charities. Name them!”
