Few days after it was widely reported that Ibiere, the wife of comedian Julius Agwu, abandoned her matrimonial home after 14 years of marriage, her friends gifted her a box filled with money.
Ibiere who has since reversed to her maiden name ( Ibiere Maclayton) on Instagram marked her 40th birthday recently and her friends made her tear up with their surprise gift.

Recall that Julius Agwu and Ibiere have been going through trying times for some years on account of Agwu’s ill health.
In 2015, the comedian, singer and writer was diagnosed with a brain tumour, when three tumours were found in his brain.
It remains unclear what brought about the crash of the Rivers State born funnyman’s marriage to her wife, Ibiere, but it’s public knowledge that he has battled an illness for a long time and only recently recovered..
Agwu and wife Ibiere married on the 31st of May 2008 and are blessed with two kids, a girl and a boy.
