The Police Prosecutor, SP Jaafar Muhammad told the presiding Magistrate, Sa’adu Garba Gurbin Bore that the police had submitted their findings to the Director of Public Prosecution, (DPP) of the State Ministry of Justice, since 31st January, 2022.
According to him, the Magistrate Court has no jurisdiction in the case, hence the police submitted the outcome of their investigation to the DPP for reassignment of the case to a court of competent jurisdiction for proper prosecution.
