Ex-Kaduna council candidate and his friend sh0t dead in Abuja

A chairmanship candidate in the last Kaduna state local government election, Steven Inuwa, was on Sunday January 30, shot dead in Abuja.

Inuwa who contested under the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), was in a car with his friend, Earnest Agatha, when yet to be identified gunmen fired shots towards them around Zuma community on the outskirts of Bwari town.

Late Agatha who was driving the vehicle, died instantly, while the politician was rushed to Bwari general hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Confirming the incident, the FCT police command’s public relations officer, DSP Josephine Adah, said an investigation has been launched and that the culprits will be arrested as soon as possible.
