Drogba commended Senegal for winning the 2021 AFCON, Egypt for their career and Cameroon for providing a beautiful football celebration.
The Ivory Coast legend disclosed this in a tweet via his Twitter handle after Senegal defeated Egypt in the 2021 AFCON final.
Recall that the Teranga Lions defeated Egypt 4-2 on penalties to lift the 2021 AFCON at the Paul Biya Stadium, Olembé.
The 2021 AFCON final had ended in a goalless draw after 120 minutes.
“Wow, what suspense!!!! Congratulations to the Senegalese people who go down in history with their first victory in @CAF_Online,” Drogba tweeted.
“Congratulations to Egypt for their career and to Cameroon for this beautiful football celebration,”
He added.
